SAF® is Charged Bubble Flotation. Charged Bubble Flotation is SAF®.

In “Wastewater Engineering: Treatment and Resource Recovery”, by Metcalf & Eddy | AECOM, you may have seen, on pages 409 and 410, they explain SAF®, also known as Charged Bubble Flotation (CBF). One of the performance metrics we would like to highlight is on page 410, where it says “Typical performance data for the removal of BOD and TSS from raw wastewater are 50 to 70 and 70 to 99 percent, respectively, depending on the type of conditioning chemicals used and the corresponding dosages.”

If 99% removal of solids while reducing operating expenses interests you, then SAF® is your path. Don’t take our word for it…
